Smokin' G's BBQ, Restaurant, and Catering are located just west of the courthouse at 25 W. Main St. Marshalltown, IA.
Our barbeque is slow-smoked with real hickory wood for an authentic smoked flavor. You can dine in, carry out, or order catering services.
We offer slow-smoked prime rib every Friday and Saturday night. Our daily specials are posted on Facebook so follow us there to stay in the know. You can get delicious slow-smoked meats, favorites like burnt ends, homemade tenderloins, burgers, and steaks grilled to order, homemade mac and cheese, bourbon-glazed salmon, and much more. Our bar offers two local brews, domestic bottles, wine, and select good drinks.

Our business started as a home-based catering company in May of 2008. From there we expanded to concessions for local events. In 2014, we opened our family-run restaurant. We are proud to be locally owned and operated and serving Marshalltown as well as many communities throughout central Iowa.
Smokin' G's BBQ still offers professional catering services available for parties, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, class reunions, graduations, or any event you want to make spectacular. We offer on-site grilling, a license for catering alcohol, and concessions.
At Smokin' G's BBQ, we believe that it is important to give back to the community. We participate in fundraising events as well as many donations to local charitable events.
